My daughter and I were at Caney Creek Preserve in Cumming, Georgia at sunset one night in June, and from the playground we spotted these two deer just hanging out in the meadow nearby.

I'm constantly amazed by the intricacies in the small things all around us... the tiny veins in a flower petal, the metallic blue luster of a dragonfly's wing, the downy feathers on a baby bird... the beauty is everywhere. I love the challenge of trying to capture these fine details in my photographs.
