Description
At the southernmost tip of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, USA, the ocean meets the intracoastal waterway. This 13-mile stretch of curving waterway is known as the Calibogue Sound, connecting the Atlantic Ocean to the Port Royal Sound. The Calibogue Sound also incorporates the convergence of several creeks, rivers, and tributaries. In my opinion it's the most beautiful part of the island. This photo was taken on a picture perfect day in September 2018.
